  1. I wonder how long it will take for the Village officials to realize they are supposed to reflect the wishes and opinions of the public they are supposed to serve.

    Meanwhile the Castleton library is going without direction, and all the excuses in the world will not change the deplorable affair they have placed their community in. Following the situation, it is “how low can you go” to take the action they took, make poor and false accusations that they should be held accountable for, especially when the trustees are not even a legal entity.

    What the Village Board, not the library trustees should be obligated to do is look into the motives behind this act. When people are so insensed that they voluntarily send petitions to the Village Board for the re-instatement of Mrs. Miller, attend public meetings, hold a candlelight vigil and County Legislators and a NYS Assemblyman go out of their way to attend meetings, pass resolutions through the County, and these people ignore everyone, something is “rotten in Schodack”.
